President calls for enhanced cooperation with Turkey

Islamabad: President Dr Arif Alvi on Wednesday underscored the need for enhanced political and economic cooperation between Pakistan and Turkey for mutual benefit of the two countries.
Talking to Speaker of Grand National Assembly of Turkey Dr Mustafa Sentop in Islamabad, President Alvi said bilateral relations between the two countries have transformed into a strong strategic partnership over the years and would continue to grow further.
The President said people of Pakistan are highly grateful to the leadership of Turkey for supporting Islamabad principled stance on Kashmir at all international fora.
Speaker of Turkey’s Grand National Assembly said his country would continue to support Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir.
