PM Imran bars ministers from commenting on Justice (r) Wajihuddin’s remarks

ISLAMABAD (National Times) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Friday has barred ministers of his party from commenting on ex-leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Justice (r) Wajihuddin Ahmed’s remarks.

Sources told that the premier has directed the ministers to not waste time on such lame statements. I don’t have expenses worth millions of rupees, he told.

PM Imran further said that discussion should be carried out on recovering the nation’s money which was looted by opposition leaders.

It may be recalled that Wajihuddin had claimed that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s monthly household expenses were borne by PTI leader Jahangir Tareen.

Speaking along with MQM leaders, he said that he had spoken nothing but truth.

“File a defamation suit against me, the courts are open but the question is whether my words have violated the rights of Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry or Imran Khan,” he said and added if someone’s rights have been violated, he should file a case himself.
