LHC rejects petition seeking removal of governor Punjab from his office

LAHORE(National Times): Lahore High Court (LHC) has rejected the petition seeking removal of governor Punjab from his office declaring it non maintainable.

Petition filed by Shahid Khan came up for hearing before a single bench of LHC presided over by Justice Muzammal Akhtar Shabbir Thursday .

The petitioner took the plea governor did not perform his obligation in conformity with his post.

The court inquired under what law the governor be barred from performing duties. Tell us governor has violated what law.

Declaring the petition seeking removal of governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar from his office non maintainable, the court rejected the plea.
