Sindh announces holiday in educational institutions on Shab-e-Meraj

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Sindh government has announced a public holiday for educational institutions on the occasion of Shab-e-Meraj. A notification has been issued in this regard, stating that all public and private educational institutions across Sindh will remain closed on January 17. Meanwhile, the Sindh government has announced revised school timings across the province after a sharp drop in temperatures triggered a cold wave, prompting authorities to take precautionary measures for students. Acting on the instructions of Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah, the Education and Literacy Department issued an official notification changing the opening time of all schools in view of the intensifying winter conditions.
