Any party creating unrest in Pakistan not loyal to country: Ahsan

SHAKARGARH(National Times)- Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal on Sunday said that any party creating unrest in Pakistan is not loyal to the country. Addressing a public gathering in the border village of Budhan in Shakargarh, Punjab, Ahsan Iqbal said that the federal government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, is taking concrete measures for the development of the country. He said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has already initiated revolutionary projects in the province. He said that foreign investment is impossible in an environment of instability. Ahsan Iqbal said that India is supporting terrorism in Pakistan, and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is defending that narrative. He said that instead of fighting terrorism, the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is making excuses. He paid tribute to the sacrifices of the armed forces but added that the country will only progress when the nation also plays its role. The Federal Minister for Planning further said that Pakistan needs peace, not chaos. “Any party creating or attempting to create unrest in Pakistan is not loyal to the country,” he said.
