ISPR DG holds special session with students, teachers on national security

RAWALPINDI(National times)- Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry held a special interactive session with students and faculty at The Millennium Universal College and Future World School, focusing on national security, internal stability and the responsibilities of youth in safeguarding Pakistan’s future. Addressing the session, the DG ISPR spoke about the internal security environment and highlighted the critical role of a strong national defence. He encouraged students to stay informed, think critically and contribute positively to Pakistan’s progress. Students and teachers paid rich tribute to the Pakistan Army for its services. Teachers noted that the armed forces not only protect the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity but also ensure the safety and well-being of the public.

They said the session broadened students’ perspectives, encouraging them to think beyond traditional views. Faculty members added that the engagement familiarized youth with the essence of Pakistani identity, active citizenship and social responsibility. Students expressed that the role of the armed forces in the Marka-e-Haq has strengthened their belief in Pakistan’s invincible defence. They also acknowledged the importance of verifying news before sharing it, terming unverified information dangerous and irresponsible.
