Afghan nationals are found involved in every act of terrorism in KP: Kundi

PESHAWAR(National times)- Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Friday said that Afghan nationals are found involved in every act of terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In a statement, Governor KP said that the attack on Wana Cadet College was successfully foiled by security forces with great skill. Afghan nationals are also involved in the attacks on the Islamabad district courts and the Wana Cadet College. He said that in most such attacks across the country, Afghan nationals are found involved, despite Pakistan having hosted millions of Afghan citizens for decades. “We treated Afghan refugees like our own brothers and sisters, yet hostile elements continue to act against Pakistan,” he said, adding that countries like Israel and India are using the Afghan government for their own agendas. Governor Kundi said that the nation had previously overcome far greater challenges, including defeating a much larger adversary like India, and expressed confidence that the country would also prevail against “a handful of terrorists.”
