Lahore High Court Bar to challenge 27th Constitutional Amendment in SC

LAHORE(National times)- The Lahore High Court Bar Association has announced to challenge the 27th Constitutional Amendment in the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan, Dunya News reported on Thursday. A unanimous resolution in this regard was passed in the general house meeting of the Lahore High Court Bar Association. According to the official statement, the current parliament is controversial and does not have the authority to make constitutional amendments. The association stated that, just like the 26th Amendment, the 27th Amendment will also be challenged in the Supreme Court.
