Field Marshal provided great leadership, says CM Maryam

LONDON(National times)- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said the whole world is now listening to Pakistan because Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has provided great leadership. Talking to the media in London, the CM said she had not broken Shahbaz Sharif’s record in performance, rather she was following the path shown by him. Running Punjab was not an easy task. People are safe in Punjab due to CCD, the provincial chief executive said. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz reached London on Thursday. She will stay there for two days before leaving for Brazil to attend COP30 meeting. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will give a briefing on Punjab’s flagship projects in the COP30 meeting in Brazil. She will inform the participants about Clean Punjab and e-mobility and discuss climate resilient regional leadership. She is also scheduled to meet important figures and leaders. A meeting with the Vice President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank is scheduled. Maryam Nawaz will also meet with the World Bank’s Global Director of Climate Change, while the Punjab Chief Minister is also scheduled to meet with officials of the United Nations Development Programme. Earlier, the CM stated that public service is the mission of the PML-N and its leader, Nawaz Sharif. She highlighted key welfare projects such as the Kissan Card and free doorstep medicine delivery, calling them proof of the government’s commitment to progress and prosperity. She added that for the first time in Punjab’s history, three million people have received pay orders worth Rs10,000 at their doorstep, while 1.5 million individuals are benefiting from Rs3,000 monthly through ration cards.
