Islamabad (National Times) The government has announced revised prices for petroleum products, with petrol becoming more expensive while diesel prices have been reduced.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of diesel has been cut by Rs3.59 per litre, bringing its new price to Rs408.53 per litre.

Meanwhile, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs2.02 per litre, taking the new price to Rs391.30 per litre.

The revised prices will take effect from September 28.
