QUETTA(National Times)- Police have arrested six suspects and recovered a large quantity of illegal arms and ammunition, drugs and two vehicles during raids in different areas of Anjira in Khuzdar district in connection with the murder of Asma Jattak’s father.
According to police officials, the raids were conducted on information provided by a sensitive security agency as part of an investigation into the murder case. Several suspects were taken into custody, while weapons, ammunition, narcotics and vehicles were seized.
DIG Kalat Range Wazir Khan Nasar told the media that the arrested suspects were being interrogated to determine their possible involvement in the murder and other crimes. He said all legal requirements were being fulfilled to bring the case to its logical conclusion.
However, the main suspect in the case, Zahoor Jamaldini, remains at large. The DIG said police were making efforts to arrest him and were also collecting records of cases in which the suspect had previously been convicted as part of the ongoing investigation.
