Innocent lives at stake as Gaza conflict rages on

GAZA (National Times) Despite the ceasefire efforts, the atrocities continue to fly under the radar as Israel’s action against innocent Palestinians increase, with children becoming the major victims in this war launched on October 7.

Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip have led to the deaths of more than 40,000 Palestinians, nearly 17,000 of whom are children. This horrifying death toll is still not enough to shake the tree for world leaders to bridle Israel’s cruel conducts.

The deaths of children account for a staggering figure– 2.6 percent of all children in Gaza.

On average, since Oct 7, Israeli strikes have killed at least 53 children every day, along with 72 men and women.

Media reports indicate that at least 10,000 people are missing, believed to be trapped under the rubble of buildings destroyed by Israeli forces.

These trapped people are presumed dead.
