Will get married after Babar Azam: Imam-ul-Haq

LAHORE (National Times) – Pakistan cricket team test batter Imam-ul-Haq has recently said that he will get married soon after Pakistan Cricket team captain Babar Azam.

In a recent interview, the young cricketer said that he hasn’t fallen in love with anyone and wishes not to fall in love. He added that he hasn’t decided about the wedding yet.

“I haven’t decided about the wedding, maybe I will get married in a year and a half. Right now, my focus is on cricket,” Imam said.

While talking about cricket craze in Pakistan, the left-handed batter said: “Cricket is the most favourite game in the country, I like it when people talk about it and make memes on social media.”

Talking about his other favourite batters, he said: “Along with Babar, I like Kumar Sangakara and Virat Kohli.”

According to Imam, Babar is a better batter than being a captain. Talking about Virat and Sangakara, he said: “I like Sangakara’s style and Virat’s aggression. If former Indian captain Kohli isn’t performing, but still he plays as a fighter on the field. He does not think about his runs and only plays with his enthusiasm. This is what I like the most about him.”

The 26-year-old cricketer also revealed that he loves playing fellow fast bowler Haris Rauf and spinner Shadab Khan.

He further said that whenever we have been given confidence, we improve. He said that I try to forget the past matches and focus on the future ones.

Meanwhile, Imam also wished to represent the team in all three formats. While he concluded saying that T20 cricket needs a bit more effort.
