Islamabad: The Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Wednesday said that govt is going to target lower middle class with coming budget for Fiscal Year 2021-22.
In a statement, Bilawal said that PTI govt wants to impose economic burden on those who already own very low incomes.
Bilawal said that his party will resist this ‘conspiracy’ of crushing the poor commoner.
The PPP Chairman further said that already the inflation rate is touching its peak reported by SPI Index as 20 percent. Packing commoner by imposing further taxes will be biggest injustice.
Bilawal alleged Imran Khan of being ‘enemy of poor’ saying that Prime Minister is providing amnesty schemes to wealthy while imposing taxes on poor. We reject this ‘IMF-dictated’ budget that will impose new unjust taxes of billions of rupees on poor, Bilawal maintained.
The Chairman of PPP said that unemployment is increasing by lightening fast rate while govt is busy claiming ‘economic progress.’ Where is Imran Khan’s economic team since He is compelled to ask ‘IMF employees’ for budget preparation? Bilawal asked, adding that Imran Khan’s govt has been grabbing scab by manipulating facts and figures.
