{"id":90897,"date":"2024-10-07T22:44:14","date_gmt":"2024-10-07T22:44:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nationaltimes.pk\/eng\/?p=90897"},"modified":"2024-10-07T22:44:14","modified_gmt":"2024-10-07T22:44:14","slug":"price-of-gold-rises-marginally-in-local-market","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationaltimes.pk\/eng\/2024\/90897\/","title":{"rendered":"Price of gold rises marginally in local market"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Islamabad (National Times) In local gold markets, the price of 24-carat gold per tola has increased by Rs200, reaching Rs275,700.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the price of gold per 10 grams has also risen by Rs171, reaching Rs236,368.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce has risen by $3 to reach $2,656.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In contrast, the price of silver per tola has remained stable at Rs 3,050.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The price of silver per 10 grams has also remained unchanged at Rs2,614.88.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, today, in the most recent foreign exchange update from the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), the Pakistani Rupee has depreciated against several major currencies, reflecting trends in international financial markets.<br>As of Monday, the buying rate for the US Dollar (USD) was Rs 278.50, with a selling rate of Rs 279.75.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The British Pound (GBP) had a buying rate of Rs 362.30 and a selling rate of Rs 365.90.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the Euro (EUR) saw a buying rate of Rs 302.60 and a selling rate of Rs 305.60.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) kicked off the trading week on a high note, with the KSE-100 index soaring past the historic milestone of 84,000 points for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Monday, the market opened strong, gaining 197 points and elevating the KSE-100 index to 83,729 points, according to Express News.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad (National Times) In local gold markets, the price of 24-carat gold per tola has increased by Rs200, reaching Rs275,700.
