Additionally, Rs 99.6 million will be allocated for 15 protocol vehicles, while Rs. 361 million will be spent on the purchase of two Fortuners for protocol duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, Rs 209 million were earmarked for the procurement of 30 single-cabin vehicles to ensure the security of provincial ministers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another Rs 17.5 million will cover taxes, while Rs 300 million will be reserved for the renovation of existing vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sources said that this expenditure has sparked debate about the government\u2019s spending priorities amidst the country\u2019s ongoing economic difficulties.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE (National Times) The Punjab government decided to purchase 76 new vehicles for the ministers, parliamentary secretaries and protocol duties.
