{"id":83732,"date":"2024-06-13T00:46:55","date_gmt":"2024-06-13T00:46:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nationaltimes.pk\/eng\/?p=83732"},"modified":"2024-06-13T00:46:55","modified_gmt":"2024-06-13T00:46:55","slug":"major-announcements-for-salaries-pensions-in-federal-budget","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationaltimes.pk\/eng\/2024\/83732\/","title":{"rendered":"Major announcements for salaries, pensions in federal budget"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>ISLAMABAD (National Times) Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb announced significant relief for government employees, increasing their salaries up to 25 per cent, ARY News reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2024-25 on the National Assembly floor, the finance minister said that the government proposed to raise salaries by 25 percent for grade 1-16 employees and a 20 percent increase for grade 17-22 employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the budget, the finance minister also proposed a 15 percent increase in pensions for retired employees.
