{"id":81292,"date":"2024-05-09T10:05:53","date_gmt":"2024-05-09T10:05:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nationaltimes.pk\/eng\/?p=81292"},"modified":"2024-05-09T10:05:53","modified_gmt":"2024-05-09T10:05:53","slug":"7-laborers-gunned-down-in-attack-on-residential-quarter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationaltimes.pk\/eng\/2024\/81292\/","title":{"rendered":"7 laborers gunned down in attack on residential quarter"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>QUETTA (National Times): As many as 7 laborers have been gunned in an attack by armed persons on residential quarter in Gwadar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the victims hailed from Punjab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to police the armed persons attacked a residential quarter in the area of Sarband near fish harbour Jetti and gunned down 7 persons sleeping therein. One person is reported to have been injured in the attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the victims and injured person are stated to be hailing from district Khanewal Punjab. They all worked in barbar shop . The incident took place at 3 p.m overnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The security forces have surrounded the area and started operation to search the unknown attackers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The victims have been identified as Sajid, Asad Ansar,Shan , Makrab, Adnan and Haseeb. One Arsalan has been injured in the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif , interior ministry Mohsin Naqvi, governors, Chief minister Balochistan and leadership of other political and religious parties have condemned Gawadar incident saying killing of innocent laborers is an open terrorism. We will chase terrorists and their facilitators.
