{"id":7455,"date":"2021-06-25T20:53:37","date_gmt":"2021-06-25T20:53:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nationaltimes.pk\/eng\/?p=7455"},"modified":"2021-06-25T20:53:37","modified_gmt":"2021-06-25T20:53:37","slug":"govt-committed-to-timely-completion-of-power-projects-under-cpec-hammad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationaltimes.pk\/eng\/2021\/7455\/","title":{"rendered":"Govt committed to timely completion of power projects under CPEC: Hammad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad: Minister for Energy Hammad Azhar has said that the government is committed to timely completion of power projects under China-Pakistan economic Corridor (CPEC) project.<br \/>\nAddressing the ceremony of 660 KV Matiari-Lahore High Power Transmission Line project in Islamabad on Friday, Hammad said this transmission line will bring stability to the power sector.<br \/>\nThe Minister said the project will also provide relief to the people of Pakistan.<br \/>\nHe said CPEC will promote connectivity in the region and generate numerous employment opportunities in the country.<br \/>\nHe said Pakistan and China enjoy strong friendship and both the countries are cooperating in different sectors including health, education, power, trade and other CPEC related projects.<br \/>\nSpeaking on the occasion, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong said CPEC will be beneficial for all the segments of the society in Pakistan.<br \/>\nHe said stable transmission of power is of vital importance for development of the industrial sector.<br \/>\nHe said this project will prove to be a milestone in the economic development.<br \/>\nLater on the day, while addressing a press conference, Hammad Azhar said that there is no chance of Pakistan being put into FATF blacklist.<br \/>\nThe Minister said that FATF\u2019s president accepted that Pakistan has played exemplary role. The FATF has admired Pakistan\u2019s performance.
