{"id":50174,"date":"2022-11-29T09:27:25","date_gmt":"2022-11-29T09:27:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nationaltimes.pk\/eng\/?p=50174"},"modified":"2022-11-29T13:52:50","modified_gmt":"2022-11-29T13:52:50","slug":"swatis-remand-extended-for-four-more-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationaltimes.pk\/eng\/2022\/50174\/","title":{"rendered":"Swati&#8217;s remand extended for four more days"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD (National Times) &#8211; A local court in Islamabad on Tuesday extended the physical remand of PTI leader and former federal minister Senator Azam Swati for another four days.<\/p>\n<p>The court extended Azam Swati\u2019s remand until December 3 and also approved his lawyer\u2019s appeal of exempting the PTI leader from court appearance.<\/p>\n<p>Babar Awan argued that there were threats to Azam Swati\u2019s life, so he should be exempted from court appearance.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Muhammad Shabbir directed that Azam Swati should be presented in court until court\u2019s next order.
