{"id":133625,"date":"2026-09-23T08:35:03","date_gmt":"2026-09-23T03:35:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nationaltimes.pk\/eng\/?p=133625"},"modified":"2026-09-23T08:35:07","modified_gmt":"2026-09-23T03:35:07","slug":"pakistan-single-window-enables-remote-biometric-verification-via-nadras-pakid-app","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationaltimes.pk\/eng\/2026\/133625\/","title":{"rendered":"Pa\u00ad\u00adkistan Single Window enables remote biometric verification via Nadra\u2019s PakID App"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ISLAMABAD(National Times)-  The Pa\u00ad\u00adkistan Single Window (PSW) has integrated its platform with the National Database and Registra\u00adtion Authority\u2019s (Nadra) PakID Mobile App, allowing users to complete mandatory biometric verification remotely through their smartphones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new facility enables PSW users to complete biometric verification for subscription, subscription renewal and profile updates without having to physically visit Nadra\u2019s e-Sahulat Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previously, biometric ver\u00ad\u00adification for PSW services required users to ap\u00ad\u00adpear in person at Nadra\u2019s e-Sahulat Centre. Follow\u00ading the integration with the PakID Mobile App, eligible users can now complete the verification process remo\u00adtely, subject to applicable Nadra requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The facility is expected to be particularly convenient for overseas Pakis\u00adtanis involved in trade-related activities in the country. Eligible overseas users will be able to complete their PSW biometric verification remotely through the PakID app, reducing the need for physical visits to Pakistan for this purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To facilitate a smooth transition, both verification channels will remain available during an interim period. Users will therefore have the option of completing their biometric verification digitally through the PakID Mobile App or continuing to visit Nadra e-Sahulat Centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe integration with Nadra\u2019s PakID Mobile App reflects our commitment to listening to the PSW community both in Pakistan and overseas and responding to their needs,\u201d said Syed Aftab Haider, CEO of PSW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBy enabling remote biometric verification, we are removing another phy\u00ad\u00adsical trip in the on\u00adboarding process and making the PSW user journey more convenient, accessible, and user driven,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to PSW, the integration removes the only physical visit previously required during the subscription process, enabling the entire process to be completed digitally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The initiative is part of PSW\u2019s broader efforts to expand the use of digital solutions, improve accessibility and simplify procedures for businesses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD(National Times)- The Pa\u00ad\u00adkistan Single Window (PSW) has integrated its platform with the National Database and Registra\u00adtion Authority\u2019s (Nadra) PakID Mobile App, allowing users to complete mandatory biometric verification remotely through their smartphones.
