{"id":132998,"date":"2026-09-13T08:09:40","date_gmt":"2026-09-13T03:09:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nationaltimes.pk\/eng\/?p=132998"},"modified":"2026-09-13T08:09:51","modified_gmt":"2026-09-13T03:09:51","slug":"two-suspected-terrorists-killed-in-karachi-operations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationaltimes.pk\/eng\/2026\/132998\/","title":{"rendered":"Two suspected terrorists killed in Karachi operations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">KARACHI (National Times)- Two suspected terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan were killed in separate operations conducted by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Sindh Rangers and federal intelligence agencies here on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first operation was carried out near Jamali Bridge on the Superhighway, where a terrorist identified as Sajid Ali was killed in an exchange of fire with law enforcement personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a separate operation in the Sher Shah area, another suspected terrorist, identified as Zia-ur-Rehman, was killed during an encounter with security personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to officials, a hand grenade and other weapons were recovered from Zia-ur-Rehman&#8217;s possession.
