Messages on the occasion of Independence Day by the President, Prime Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan were also read out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his remarks, the Ambassador extended his warmest felicitations to the Pakistani community in Belgium and Luxembourg. He paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of the founders, and the contributions of the sons and daughters of Pakistan, towards the country\u2019s progress and development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ambassador underscored that 14 August was not merely a day of celebration, but a reminder of our shared responsibility to uphold the ideals of unity, faith and discipline and to contribute positively towards Pakistan\u2019s progress and prosperity. He reaffirmed the Embassy\u2019s unwavering commitment to serving the Pakistani community and strengthening the bonds between Pakistan and Belgium, Luxembourg and the European Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ceremony reflected the deep affection of Pakistanis living abroad for their homeland.
