The Ambassador reiterated China\u2019s commitment to fostering a shared future, noting that the stability and prosperity of Xinjiang are intrinsically linked to the broader success of regional development projects.<br>Ambassador highlighted that China and Pakistan will celebrate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations in less than two weeks.<br>He described Xinjiang as a region experiencing its best period of development, stability, and prosperity in history.<br><br>Ambassador shared his recent visits to Urumqi, Kashgar, and Id Kah Mosque, saying he witnessed inter-ethnic harmony and peaceful coexistence firsthand.<br>He stated that people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang are living together \u201clike pomegranate seeds tightly held together.\u201d<br><br>Key economic achievements of Xinjiang mentioned: 5.5% GDP growth in 2025. <br>Cotton production exceeding 90% of China\u2019s total output, Foreign trade growth of 19.9% 323 million tourists welcomed in 2025. <br><br>Renewable energy capacity surpassing 100 million kilowatts<br>Ambassador rejected what he called \u201cfalse narratives\u201d regarding Xinjiang and defended China\u2019s policies in the region.<br>He emphasized that ethnic unity is the foundation of Xinjiang\u2019s development and noted that all 56 ethnic groups of China live in Xinjiang.<br>Reaffirmed that Pakistan remains a priority in China\u2019s neighborhood diplomacy, while Pakistan continues to uphold the One-China policy.<br>China reiterated support for Pakistan\u2019s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and development path.<br><br>Ambassador called for deeper China-Pakistan cooperation using Xinjiang\u2019s geographic and economic connectivity with Pakistan.<br>He stressed the importance of building a closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future amid changing global conditions.<br><br>Nasir Khan, President of Overseas Chinese Association Rawalpindi, said Xinjiang is the gateway to one of the greatest humans of China, Pakistan cooperation, the China Pakistani economic corridor of sea bank, the Legion ship project of the Belt and Road Initiative, the shiny stability, prosperity and openness directly unlock new horizons for Pakistan in the entire region through Shinya Pakistani ports can seamlessly reach Central Asia and beyond through The upgraded karakulon highway and to other port connectivity. We are not just neighbors. We are becoming an integrated hub of trade, energy and civil exchange. <br>Cynthia&#8217;s socio economic leap forward means more energy cooperation, deeper agriculture, technology transfer, advanced international parks and complex opportunities for Pakistani youth, entrepreneurs and workers. And there&#8217;s another thing I want to say, as a we have excited the session, as the President of that and as it is said, we are sending lots of students every year free scholarships sponsored by the Chinese government to the China for further studies for skill the skill jobs they learned over there, and that&#8217;s doing a great job when the kids, They come back from the studies and skill job schedules, training they are doing now, very good. They are now the important portion of our society. Now today&#8217;s similar aims to all of these horizons, we have brought together brilliant minds to discuss the tangible achievements of this Indian development models and emerging opportunities in their technology, green energy, tourism and special economic change like framework, Let us approach the discussions ahead with the openness and shared commitment to progress. He pointed out that the \u201cNew Horizons\u201d mentioned in the summit\u2019s theme refer to a shift toward high-tech exchange and sustainable industrialization. He further noted that the 75-year milestone of friendship is a testament to the resilience of the bond between the two nations, which continues to grow despite global geopolitical shifts.<br>The discussion also featured a diverse range of perspectives from academic and defense circles. <br><br>Safdar Ali Shah, Director General of the Higher Education Commission, spoke on the necessity of academic collaboration, while Group Captain (R) Sultan M Hali highlighted the cultural and historical threads that connect the people of Pakistan with those in Xinjiang. These speakers, alongside International Studies expert Shakil Ahmad, collectively argued that Xinjiang\u2019s model of \u201cEthnic Harmony\u201d has been the cornerstone of its internal progress, offering valuable lessons in social management and inclusive growth.<br><br>The participants also highlighted the impressive developmental indicators of the Xinjiang region to illustrate its potential as an economic hub. It was noted that Xinjiang has seen a consistent rise in per capita disposable income, reflecting a broader trend of poverty alleviation and shared wealth.<br><br>Furthermore, the region\u2019s massive strides in energy production, particularly in green electricity and grid connectivity, were presented as a model for industrial modernization.
