A notable highlight of his tenure came on March 27, 1971, when he presented the Hockey World Cup trophy to Ren\u00e9 Frank, President of the International Hockey Federation, in Brussels.<br>The ornate trophy\u2014featuring a wooden base inlaid with ivory and topped with a globe and hockey structure in silver and gold\u2014was a gift from Pakistan for the newly established tournament.
