He expressed gratitude to the leadership of Iran and the United States for accepting a ceasefire proposal and agreeing to participate in peace talks in Islamabad.<br>Sharif termed Pakistan\u2019s role as host of these talks an honor and praised the efforts of the country\u2019s leadership, including the foreign ministry and security institutions, particularly Field Marshal Asim Munir, for facilitating the ceasefire.<br>He emphasized that the next critical phase is achieving a lasting peace through meaningful negotiations, and assured that Pakistan will play its part with sincerity.<br>Addressing inflation, the Prime Minister reiterated his commitment to passing on the benefits of declining global oil prices to the public.
