He added that the initiative will be implemented for a limited period initially.<br>The government has also extended relief to intercity transport and freight vehicles by providing a Rs. 100 per litre subsidy on diesel, aiming to reduce the impact on transportation costs and essential goods supply.<br>Meanwhile, the government has increased petrol and diesel prices effective April 3.
