ISLAMABAD(National times)- The opposition alliance\u2019s sit-in over concerns about PTI founder Imran Khan\u2019s health entered its fourth day on Monday. In a surprising move, authorities reopened all roads leading to Parliament House early in the morning. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Tehreek Tahafuz-i-Ayeen Pakistan (TTAP) launched the protest on Friday after the Supreme Court was informed that only 15 percent vision remained in Imran Khan\u2019s right eye. The disclosure triggered a strong reaction from the opposition alliance.TTAP spokesperson Akhunzada Yousafzai described the reopening of routes as unexpected. He said protesters would finally have a proper breakfast after four days, as they had previously been limited to dates, biscuits, and tap water. He also announced that the sit-in at Parliament Lodges would now be merged with the main protest at Parliament House. Initially, demonstrations were staged at three locations. The protest outside Parliament House was led by TTAP chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas. PTI lawmakers led the sit-in at Parliament Lodges, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi headed the protest at KP House. Yousafzai said the government was expected to submit a report on Imran Khan\u2019s health to the Supreme Court, which the alliance would review before deciding its next course of action. He reiterated that the sit-in would continue until their demands were met. Meanwhile, sources said a team of doctors examined Imran Khan at Adiala Jail on Sunday and departed after about an hour. PTI rejected the examination, claiming it was conducted without the presence of his family or personal doctors and describing it as \u201cmalicious.\u201d Earlier on Sunday, PTI MNA Asad Qaiser stated that the party, along with the opposition alliance, would maintain pressure on the government through continued protests to ensure Imran Khan\u2019s transfer to a hospital. \u201cWe will not compromise on Imran\u2019s health,\u201d he said, adding that the government was testing the party\u2019s resolve. He further said the sit-ins would continue until their demands were accepted and Imran Khan was shifted to Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad. He also confirmed that the party planned to approach the Supreme Court on Monday to seek justice and secure his right to medical treatment.A TTAP leader claimed they had initially been informed that Imran Khan would be moved to Shifa International Hospital but later received messages suggesting the protest should first be called off.
