According to officials, the child, identified as Ali Hoor, was playing when he slipped into an uncovered manhole near the wedding hall. Emergency services were alerted, but the boy could not be saved. Assistant Commissioner Ghulam Fatima ordered the immediate sealing of the facility, while Deputy Commissioner Asif Raza directed police to arrest the wedding hall owner and initiate legal proceedings.
