As a result of the incident, the track was blocked, forcing a suspension of train services along the affected route. According to sources, the train going to Lahore from Rawalpindi was stopped at the Sarai Alamgir Railway Station, causing significant inconvenience to passengers. Relief teams have been sent to the location and clearance operations will commence shortly, a spokesperson for Pakistan Railways stated.
