Justice Shahid Karim heard the miscellaneous petition filed by Azhar Siddique concerning the prevention of smog. The petitioner stated that despite court orders, trees were cut in Nasir Bagh, and earlier, a Banyan tree was also cut in the Cantonment area. The petition argued that apologies are always offered after trees had already been cut. The court was requested to take action against those responsible for cutting trees in Nasir Bagh.
