PHC bench, comprising Justice Ijaz Anwar and Justice Waqar Ahmed, conducted hearing on the petition filed by the chief minister seeking protective bail and details of cases registered against him. However, proceedings in the case could not continue due to a lawyers\u2019 strike. During the brief session, the court extended the chief minister\u2019s protective bail until November 27 and once again directed the concerned authorities to submit complete details of all cases registered against him. The court also issued an order restraining authorities from arresting Sohail Afridi in any existing case until the next date of hearing.
