Judge Javed Iqbal Warraich of the Anti-Corruption Court Lahore heard the case against Elahi and others regarding alleged illegal recruitments in the Punjab Assembly. Government lawyer Tanveer Chaudhry Advocate appeared before the court. During the hearing, Elahi\u2019s lawyer argued that his client was unwell and requested a one-day exemption from appearance, which the court granted. Meanwhile, co-accused Ijaz, Zohaib, and Haider Shafqat filed acquittal pleas. The court issued notices to the Anti-Corruption authorities and sought arguments on the next hearing. Similarly, on the acquittal plea of co-accused Mukhtar Ranjha, the court also sought arguments from lawyers at the next hearing.
