Sharjeel Memon said that all departments are fully prepared, and the Chief Minister of Sindh is personally monitoring every matter while on the special instructions of the party leadership, PPP workers were also working closely with the government functionaries. Sharjeel Memon stated that protecting precious lives is a top priority of the Sindh government. He emphasized that efforts are being made to safeguard both human lives and livestock. He added that no assistance has been sought from the NDMA or the federal government so far, but if the situation worsens, the federal government may be approached. He emphasized the need to think beyond politics and act with national unity. \u201cThe floods have caused widespread damage in Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
