The cases have now been rescheduled for September 17. According to the court&#8217;s official schedule, the hearings were supposed to be held as jail trials today. However, due to the judge\u2019s unavailability, the jail proceedings were once again deferred. However, a brief session took place at the Rawalpindi district courts, where attendance was formally recorded. Government prosecutor Zaheer Ali Shah, defense lawyers Malik Faisal Advocate and Hasnain Sanbal Advocate, as well as former interior minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, were present during the hearing. The court had earlier issued orders for the arrest and production of senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Omar Ayub and Shibli Faraz. However, no further proceedings took place in their cases. The GHQ attack case alone includes a list of 119 witnesses, but so far, testimonies from only 27 have been recorded. The other 11 cases include the attack on Gate 4 of the GHQ compound.
