According to the ministry, the Federal Government Inspector of Railways has been directed to carry out the investigation and submit recommendations to prevent such incidents in the future. The accident occurred near Kala Shah Kaku, where four coaches of Islamabad Express derailed and five overturned, injuring multiple passengers and blocking the main railway line.
