Karachi: NAB arrests ex-Municipal Commissioner, recovers gold brinks, dollars

KARACHI (National Times) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested former Municipal Commissioner of Korangi Masroor Mamon, along with two accomplices in a raid and recovered gold bricks, gold buttons, dollars, Dirhams, Riyals and telegraphic transfers (TT) receipts that are worth millions.

According to the NAB, the arrested include accounts officerWaqash and audit officer Dharam Veer.

The official revealed that they traced corruption in oil and other purchases as well asbribes for contracts.
