Imran Khan, Gandapur and others booked in terrorism cases

LAHORE (National Times) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, his sisters Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan and KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur have been booked in four cases of terrorism.

PTI leaders Hammad Azhar, Salman Akram Raja, Sheikh Imtiaz, Ali Imtiaz Warraich, Rana Shehbaz Ahmad and Shabbir Gujjar have also been accused in the terrorism cases.

Accused have been charged under Section 109 in the provincial capital, Lahore on the violation Section 144.

PTI leaders including Imran Khan and his sisters have been registered in cases like May 9.

The FIR stated the provision of luxury facilities and permission of meetings in jail to Imran Khan have caused anti-state violence.

The 23 cases against PTI leadership and workers were registered from October 3 to 6 as per police record.

The cases against PTI leaders included sections of police encounter, interference with police officers and robbery.

Around 20 cases registered in the police record against protest have been declared high-profile.

Around 129 persons have been arrested in registered cases under the section of terrorism on October 6.
