ANP wins PK-22-Bajaur by-election

BAJAUR (National Times) The Awami National Party (ANP) candidate Muhammad Nisar won the by-election for PK-22-Bajaur constituency of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Thursday.

According to unofficial result of all 91 polling stations, ANP’s Muhammad Nisar got 11,926 votes to secure the seat. Independent candidate Najibullah Khan remained second with 10,622 votes.

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) candidate Abid Khan came third by obtaining 10,593 votes while Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) candidate was fourth with 7,146 votes.
