Rally held in Karachi to mark Burhan Wani’s martyrdom anniversary

KARACHI (National Times) Under the leadership of All-Parties Hurriyat Conference Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi, a rally was held in Karachi on the occasion of eighth martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Muzaffar Wani.

According to Kashmir Media Service, thousands of people including leaders of political, religious and social parties of Pakistan participated in the rally.

Leaders of the All-Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Kashmir branch advocate Pervez Ahmed, Ejaz Rahmani, Raja Khadim Hussain and Imtiaz Wani also participated in the rally.

The participants of the rally marched from the Karachi Arts Council to the Press Club.

PPP’s Saeed Ghani, MQM’s Amin-ul-Haq, JI’s Raja Azhar, Mufti Usman, Saleem Ilyas, Abdul Rahman and Palestinian Foundation’s Dr Sabir Abu also took part in the rally.

On this occasion, slogans of freedom from Indian rule of Jammu and Kashmir were also raised. The participants of the rally carried banners with pictures of Burhan Muzaffar Wani.
