NA speaker sends Finance Amendment Bill-2024 to president

ISLAMABAD (National Times) Speaker National Assembly (NA) Sardar Ayyaz Sadiq has sent Finance Amendment Bill-2024 to president Asif Ali Zardari.

According to parliamentary sources bill and documents related to bill and additional expenses carry the signatures of Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif.

Bill is likely to be endorsed by the president at any time.

The Finance Bill-2024 will become applicable from July 01 after it is signed by the president. However certain tax proposals will become applicable from June 16.
NA had approved over Rs 18000 billion budget on Friday. Finance amendment bill was approved with several amendments in this regard.
