ISLAMABAD (National Times) Advisor to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah on Tuesday said that the government will try to keep Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan in jail as long as possible and added that we will keep him imprisoned as per constitution and law.

Talking in a private TV programme, Rana Sanaullah said that he [Imran Khan] does not believe in dialogue, then what should be done? “Imran Khan’s narrative and political agenda is to destabilise the country,” Sanaullah said.

Rana Sanaullah further said that we have also got the vote and mandate but no one has got the vote to spread chaos. There is no other way in democracy except dialogue to resolve the issues. He said that cases were also registered against us. He said that the PTI founder was behind the bars because he was sentenced by the courts.

He said that the PTI founder does not believe in democracy. The PML-N leaders further said that we are political and democratic people. He said that if Imran Khan have intention to move forward with democracy then we have no enmity with him.
