ISLAMABAD (National Times) District and Sessions court Islamabad has acquitted PTI founder Imran Khan, Sheikh Rashid, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and others in Azadi March case.
Judicial magistrate Malik Muhammad Imran announced reserved judgment.
Case was registered against PTI founder, Sheikh Rashid and others in 2022 on violation of section 144 and rioting clauses in police station I-9.
The court also acquitted Sadaqat Abbasi and Ali Nawaz Awan.
It is pertinent to mention here that Anti Terrorism Court Lahore had extended bail of PTI founder in 3 cases related to Jinnah House attack case a day before.
Barrister Suleman Safdar had appeared in the court on behalf of Imran Khan.
