ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said we alone are not contractor of Afghanistan. And US which is raising finger on us is saying today that Pakistan is our helper and constructive partner.

Speaking at the Senate’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs in Islamabad on Friday, he said it is our effort and desire that the neighboring country does not plunge into the civil war again.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Pakistan wants that the dignified return of Afghan refugees be made part of the Afghan peace process.
The Foreign Minister remarked Iran has an important role regarding Afghanistan which cannot be overlooked.
He held Pakistan’s relations with Iran has further strengthened. He said we are establishing border markets with Iran.
He underlined Army chief and DG ISI gave briefing in the meeting of National Security Committee. They gave replies to the questions.
He observed that it is given impression Pakistan is isolated in the world which is not correct. US state department spokesperson said Pakistasn is our helper and constructive partner. US are saying this which used to raise finger on us.
We along are contractor of Afghanistan, he said adding today our destination in Afghanistan is one. It is peace and stability of Afghanistan.
He told the committee that US says pull out will till August 31. I am seeing an interesting change. International players have become convinced on it there is mailtary solution to Afghanistan. When this was said by Imran Khan then he was dubbed as Taliban Khan.
He held the world has reached this conclusion that the only solution lies in peace and reconciliation.
It is latest thinking of the world that US mission has been completed. There is political consensus on the decision of pull out from Afghanistan. US says safe pull out is our prioeirty. US says it has achieved its objective in Afghanistan.
He underlined no personality is being seen in Afghanistan who could unite all. We have no influence on those who are associates of US. Afghan president Ashraf Ghanni is saying they are ready to form government along with Taliban. But Taliban have reservations on Ashraf Ghani.
He stated Taliban are very smart and alert mentally. Taliban have changed and they understand every thing.
He underlined India is playing role of spoiler. India wants civil war erupts therein.
