Court acquits Imran Khan from two cases related to May9 incident

ISLAMABAD (National Times) District and Sessions Court Islamabad has acquitted PTI founder Imran Khan in two cases related to May 9 incident.
These cases were registered in police station Shahzad Town.

Judicial magistrate Umar Bashir announced reserved judgment on the acquittal pleas of former Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.
The court acquitted PTI founder from two cases for want of sufficient evidence.

The lawyers Mirza Aslam Beg and Naeem Panjutha had given arguments regarding acquittal of Imran Khan.
Counsel Mirza Asim Beg told the court the FIRs were got registered by unauthorized person against Imran Khan.
Allegation under 109 was levied against PTI founder but no evidence could be presented.

The court acquitted Imran Khan from 2 cases related to May 9 after hearing the arguments.
