Country has come out of danger of default: Information minister

ISLAMABAD (National Times) Information Minister Atta Tarar has said the country has come out of threat of default.
“Some one’s desires crumbled. Positive reports are coming about economy. UEA has announced to make investment of10 billion dollars. Talks are underway with Saudi Arabia for 5 billion dollars investment. PTI founder is giving incoherent statements. His dreams of dismemberment of country have crashed., he said this while addressing a press conference here Monday.

He held Pakistan is achieving successes on diplomatic front. , Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has talked to Prime ministers of Norway and Ireland. The decision taken by Norway and Ireland on middle east situation was appreciated. Both the countries took courageous decisions.
PM told to both of his counterparts prime ministers that Pakistan stands with Palestine.

PM linked global peace to peace in Gaza. He talked on Palestine issue on world forums. These all steps will send message to people of Palestine that all world countries are concerned over their situation.

He underlined we want peace and ceasefire in Palestine. The entire nation should express solidarity with people of Palestine and Gaza.

Terming SIFC a vital forum for national economy PM said decisions were taken in SIFC for promoting investment. Favor has come from investors of friendly countries. Separate desks for China, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, European Union , US and Far East have been set up in SIFC.
Indicating to positive reports with reference to national economy he said UAE has announced to earmark 10 billion dollars. PM is going to visit China in next few days which is very significant with reference to CPEC.

He remarked IMF has issued very positive press release. Our IT exports rose and inflation subsided. It is remarkable headway that inflation has reduced to 17 percent. The world journals are giving good news for revival of Pakistan economy.

He stated PIA privatization process is underway on fast track basis. Flight operation regarding Europe will soon be restored. Work is fast tracking on digitalization of FBR. Pakistan has to make progress and has to go ahead. This all development is not being digested by opponents.

They are dreaming of dismemberment of the country. He is comparing himself with Sheikh Mujib ur Rehman. PTI founder said if he does not remain Pakistan will be dismembered. Political interests and personal survival is linked to survival of Pakistan. They compromise on national interests for the sake of their personal interests.

He underlined country was taken to the level of default under specific agenda. PTI founder wrote letters to IMF. Cipher was waved before the people. Country foreign policy was played with. The gifts received from friendly countries were sold. Attempt was made to link Pakistan to 71 like situation under specific propaganda.

Bids are being made to undermine country, he said adding. false narrative is being coined against the country.

During the entire tenure of PTI founder, GDP remained negative, he remarked. He did not care for country and remained engaged in his mischievous acts.

They plagued Pakistan relations with friendly countries. They were busy in collecting watches and rings. Now he is trying to prove himself innocent.

His dream for undermining country will never be allowed to come true. Your heinous face has been exposed before nation.
