Random drug tests of some students will be conducted: Sharjeel Memon

KARACHI (National Times) Information Minister Sindh Sharjeel Memon has said random drug tests of some students will be conducted and their names will be kept secret.

Talking to a private TV Channel,.Sharjeel Memon said if drug test of any student comes positive then they will talk to his parents and will ask from the said student who has provided him drug.

Sharjeel Memon said ” I know that initially the matter of drug test in educational institutes will be criticized. If drug test of any student comes positive then it does not mean legal action will be taken against him.

He underlined K-Electric should suspend electricity supply to that consumer who is not paying bill. Punishment be not given to entire mohallah. You cannot award punishment to consumers collectively. K-Electric should improve its performance.
