LAHORE (National Times) Petition has been filed in Lahore High Court (LHC) for setting up help line for Pakistani students in Kyrgyzstan and their safe evacuation.
It has been requested in the petition that Prime Minister (PM) Pakistan should talk to government of Kyrgyzstan and inform it about his reservations.
The petition has been filed by advocate Maqsat Saleem making PM, ministry of foreign affairs and others respondents.
The petitioner has taken plea in the petition the local population is subjecting the Pakistani students in Kyrgyzstan to violence since last 40 days. Some Pakistani students have been injured in these incidents.
The petitioner has requested the court to direct the government to arrange secure evacuation of Pakistani students from Kyrgyzstan and government of Pakistan should provide medical and communication help.
It has been said in the petition that PM Pakistan should talk to government of Kyrgyzstan and inform it about his reservations. Government should set up help line for Pakistani students in Kyrgyzstan.
