Azerbaijan appreciates Pakistan’s role for peace, stability in region

Rawalpindi: Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan Ali Alizada has appreciated Pakistan’s role for ensuring peace and stability in the region.
In a farewell call to Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi Tuesday, the Ambassador also pledged to contribute positively towards Afghan peace – A statement from Inter services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, regional security situation, including Afghan Peace Process and measures to further enhance bilateral and defence cooperation were discussed.
The COAS thanked Ambassador for his services in Pakistan and acknowledged his contributions towards strengthening Pak-Azerbaijan relations.
