Pakistan is ready to counter any threat to its security, regional integrity: FO

ISLAMABAD (National Times) Foreign Office (FO) Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said on Friday that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar visit to China and meeting with Chinese authorities remained useful.

The Foreign Office said that during meetings of Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar with the Chinese authorities, both sides expressed their resolve to curb terrorism and eliminate forces that sabotaged peace.
She said India was involved in human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and Indian forces were continuing their aggression in the occupied valley. The international community should take notice of the ongoing Indian atrocities in held Kashmir.
Baloch further said series of attacks on Palestinians in Gaza must be stopped forthwith. She said, “Pakistan welcomes the General Assembly resolution on Palestine’s permanent membership in the United Nations,” she added.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, at the invitation of his Kazakh counterpart, will lead the Pakistani delegation to the regular meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFMs) of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), being held from 20th to 21st of this month in Astana, Kazakhstan.
The foreign minister will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts on the sidelines of the Council of Foreign Ministers meeting.

Avoiding to give reaction to any matter between Iran and India she said this is internal matter of other countries.

During recent visit of Iranian president to Pakistan several agreements were signed.
